Description
Hiplok D1000 Anti-Angle Grinder Bike D-Lock

The Hiplok D1000 Anti-Angle Grinder Bike Lock secures your bicycle or e-bike against cutting and leverage attacks in public spaces. It uses a specialist composite shackle and a double-locking mechanism that wear down angle-grinder discs and require cuts on both sides to release.

Discover the key features and benefits of this lock’s design and construction:

Specialist Composite Shackle Material: A purpose-engineered composite with abrasive properties actively grinds down motorised cutting discs during contact, reducing cutting efficiency and heat build-up so you keep control of longer parking durations with a lock that resists severe and sustained angle-grinder attacks.
Anti-Rotation Double Locking Tabs: Dual locking points secure both sides of the shackle to the body so any forced rotation is contained and a thief must cut through two sections, giving you higher resistance to twist, pry and leverage attempts and a lock that remains engaged under load.
32 mm Shackle with Rubberised Outer: A 32 mm-diameter shackle provides substantial cross-sectional strength while the rubberised outer prevents frame scratches, helping you attach the lock firmly to stands or anchors without cosmetic damage and with improved resistance to deformation.
92 mm × 155 mm Internal Locking Area: The internal clearance supports a tight fit around your frame and a secure anchor point, reducing movement that aids tool access so you set up compact locking positions that limit leverage.
Independent Security Certification (Sold Secure Powered Cycle Diamond & ART 4-Star): Tested by recognised bodies to their highest cycle security levels, these ratings evidence performance under rigorous attack methods so you can select parking spots with confidence backed by third-party verification.
ENRA Approval: Insurance-aligned approval indicates compliance with stringent criteria, helping you meet common insurer requirements and simplifying policy acceptance where specified.
3 × Coded Replaceable Keys: Supplied with three individually coded keys and a key-replacement system, allowing you to order replacements by code if one is lost or damaged so you maintain uninterrupted daily use without replacing the entire lock.
Compatibility with Hiplok AX1000 and A1000 Anchors: Sized and configured to work with matching ground and wall anchors, letting you build a fixed locking point at home or work so you create a consistent, repeatable security routine.
Dimensions and Weight: External size of approximately 230 mm (L) × 155 mm (W) × 40 mm (D) with an internal area of 155 mm × 92 mm and a weight of around 1.9 kg, giving you a portable lock you can carry on commutes while retaining heavy-duty resistance.
Lifetime Warranty (registration within 30 days): Product coverage when registered within the stated window provides long-term support for manufacturing defects so you add durable security to your bike setup with aftercare in place.
You use this lock to reduce the risk of tool-based theft during regular stops such as station runs, city commutes and overnight storage on private anchors. The certified construction, anti-rotation mechanism and sized locking area work together to restrict tool access and leverage, helping you secure common locking points like Sheffield stands and fixed anchors with minimal movement. As a durable, certified and service-supported D-lock, the D1000 is a smart addition to your everyday bike security setup when you want a portable solution that stands up to power-tool attacks.
