Andy Twigg

Andy Twigg

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our friend and colleague Andy Twigg. Andy died at home with his family and will be deeply missed by many.

Andy joined the Harleyworld team in March 2003. He brought a wealth of knowledge about Harley-Davidson’s, Triumph’s and motorcycling in general. Many customers instantly recognised his passion for motorcycling and connected with him.

Talking about any bikes, old or new, and Andy would have an opinion on it - and if it was a Harley-Davidson or a Triumph the chances are he would have owned or ridden one at some stage! Thousands of hours have been spent recalling motorcycling stories at the Harleyworld counter, and many European trips and ride outs have been planned from there also.

I have ridden with Andy both locally and into Europe and I have fond memories of these occasions, on the road and at the bar. There will be hundreds of bikers thinking the same thing and we have been very lucky to have ridden with a truly great guy. Andy was a man I associate with the “live to ride” ethos. His passion for motorcycling will be deeply missed around our shops.
